It is with great regret that we must announce that it is necessary for us to give up our beloved Adventure and prepare her for further adventures with a new starry-eyed crew.
Last
week I (Dave) received some bad health news. A couple of weeks of disorientation
and headaches sent me to the hospital where within a couple of hours I heard the
news; a fourth stage, walnut size brain tumor in my left parietal lobe.
Depending the results of chemo and radiation, I may go on a good while, but it is obvious I won't be able to manage and voyage as we have in the past, and the illness will certainly put a drain on our limited resources. We are still working on establishing a price for her at this time.
We had a very good run, made some sacrifices and were rewarded tenfold. Now it is time for your adventure on a very comfortable well-proven offshore voyager!
